ACT! hopes you had a good one and are refreshed and raring to go. Traditionally, the Autumn is when most co-ops prepare their plans for the following year(s). It is more important than ever, that co-operatives now re-focus their efforts to tackle climate change, and make ambitious plans for 2011-2012. The framework for co-ops is simple, but strong.
ICA Housing sector shows the wayThe worldwide Board of the ICA's Housing sector meets in London 6th October.
This will be followed by a two day symposium for delegates on Oct 7th-8th. The theme of the second day is
"Co-operative responses to the climate change challenge" with ACT! Principal Bob Burlton as one of the keynote speakers.
Bob said " This is a great example of what all ICA's regions and sectors should be doing,
ie. discussing and developing plans for co-ordinated action by their member co-ops through 2011 and 2012 -
I hope that their meeting is a big success."
